The Distance Education and training Council's (DETC) list of
accreditated schools
These schools are approved the US Department of Education
and the Council of Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
Accreditation come from DETC, not one of the six regional
accreditation agencies. These correspondence schools are less
expensive alternatives to the regional schools. Be sure that DETC
accreditation will meets your long term goals prior to enrollment.

This site has more than 1,130 pages of ONLINE ED information,

Educom
Through direct services and cooperative efforts, Educom offers leadership and assistance to
its member institutions in order to address critical issues surrounding the role of information technology in higher education.
Community Learning Network CLN is designed to help K-12 teachers
integrate technology into their classrooms. This excellent site
provide links to curricular content, instructional materials
(e.g., lesson plans), background information on technology
integration, practical help for teachers looking for keypals/projects,
internet guidebooks, software repositories, listservs and school
pages.
Distance Education Resources for Instructors and Students
This collection of distance education and mediated instruction development resources is intended
for Indiana higher education staff, faculty, and administrators and others with professional interests
in distance learning. Information here is regularly updated, most recently on April 16, 1998. The
page is on the Web site of the Indiana Higher Education Telecommunication System (IHETS).

The European Telematics Horizontal Observatory Service
ETHOS will provide a horizontal observatory service to the
Telematics Applications Programme. It monitors and assesses the deployment
of applications of information and communication technologies,
developments in market trends, state of deployment of telematics
applications and user needs in Europe and other countries and
regions and developments in both computer and/or telecommunications
technologies.

The Finnish Association for Distance Education (FADE)
An association for distance education institutions or organisations
which offer higher education at a distance. Includes 10
universities and university colleges.
The International Centre for Distance Learning (ICDL)
A documentation centre specialising in collecting and disseminating
information on distance education worldwide.
International Multimedia Teleconferencing Consortium (IMTC)
A non-profit corporation composed of members and affiliates from
all over the world to promote, encourage, and facilitate the
development and implementation of interoperable multimedia teleconferencing
solutions based on open international standards.
International Teleconferencing Association
ITCA, the forum where dialogue leads to solutions, is a professional association linking users,
providers, strategists, educators, learners, managers and employees that use teleconferencing,
telecollaborative and distance education technologies.
Norwegian Association for Distance Education (NADE)
NADE is a membership organization. It's members are institutions
from within the private, other independent non-public and
the public sector.
